Want to try Accessible Dungeons and Dragons? (self.Blind)
submitted by GD_Wes
Hey y'all

If you've ever wanted to give D&D, or any other Table Top Games a go you need to check out Knights of the Braille: $1

You can hear more info on the following podcasts:

See Saw: $1

Hindsight is also having on the c--creator soon: $1

I'm going to give it a try, may see you there!

did DNDBeyond ever make their character builder at all accessible? Or, are there other online character builders out there that are accessible and create accessible character sheets?

I recently did a one shot with others who all have different levels of sight and we used DNDBeyond with no issue. I'd recommend exporting the character sheet though as they are a bit crap with the interface afterwards.

D&D Beyond allow an export to text or HTML because the last time I looked, the PDF file produced was not accessible. Also, the web site version of chracter builder doesn't seem to have improved at all. I haven't played with the IOS version.

Do they have a scheduled newbie session because when I was there it was very rare that anyone wanted newbies. No shade, I totally get it, newbies are a big time investment, but still, I need somewhere to start.

I'd love to get involved more, but I'm in Australia and also find keeping up with Discord servers overwhelming :(
