Hi,
I'm on my way to blindness and I'm having trouble getting glasses at LensCrafters. The lenses they sold to me feel like I'm floating in the air. I had my eyes rechecked with no prescription strength change. I'm just wondering if I should be getting my prescription glasses from a low vision doctor. What have your experiences been?

Low vision optometrist is what I use.

Thanks. That makes more sense. It was humiliating trying to explain my degrading vision loss. They had such a hard time understanding. Going forward I'll be seeing a low vision optometrist.
