I’ve seen several suggestions here about using Hadley to learn braille. I’m curious if anyone has had problems with spam or other privacy issues after registering with Hadley. Reason I ask: Hadley’s privacy policy indicates that, among other things, it transmits information about your activities to both Facebook and Twitter. See paragraph 5 of the policy here: https://hadley.edu/privacy-policy. (Although, If you have a third-party ad blocker that blocks social media widgets on all webpages effectively, that apparently will prevent this data transmission.)

Hadley's offerings for learning braille are much lower in quality than they were five years or so ago.

It seems everything has gone down hill since they switched away from actual courses.

If it is just the widgits, which is pretty standard, then UBlock Origin, Adblock Plus ETC should handle them. If they don't do it by default, then go into the filter options and add a filter list that does help with that.

I've been registered with Hadley for many years and never had an issue with them posting anything or sending me any spam. This might just be a clause to cover if they post about students to their own social media pages.

I think that’s talking about if they take pictures of their students and posting them with permission?
