I bought an ice machine. (self.Blind)

Edit: here is a link to the product: Ice Maker Machine for Home... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09PCY4CRR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share It’s great! It’s very accessible, it only has 2 buttons: on/off/clean and the select button for small/large ice bullets.

That sounds so handy!

It really is! It will allow me to drink a lot more water and a lot less soda :-)

Good for you! I have to cut down on soda myself. Might try and find one of these!

Yeah, I didn’t mind my belly for a couple of years and then the breathing issues started, so I need to lose it. It won’t be easy, but if you can lose your belly it’ll be worth it.

I bought it off of Amazon. I just typed in ice machine and went from there.

This is one of the things I miss about my old fridge. Ice was on one dispenser, water on another, and there was a light you could turn on to light up the dispenser area.

The new one has no light and you must toggle between the two using a button. I've gotten used to it, but the old one was easier.

(I say "new" it's still a 15yr old fridge, we just moved...)

LCool, you can buy that stuff in the UK; it’s just not that common.

And this is related to blindness how? It seems more appropriate for a subreddit like r/CasualConversation.
bradley22 [OP] 2 points 1y ago
Because this machine is very accessible. I don’t think everything should be purely based on blindness itself here, I think if we want to celebrate a thing we bought and enjoy using, we should be able to.

"Posts and comments must be related to vision impairment and blindness."

Then it’s related to blindness, because the machine is accessible/usable. Are you a mod? If you are, take the post down if you feel it doesn’t fit, but are you really telling me that we can’t talk about tech here that is usable/accessible?
CloudyBeep -2 points 1y ago
I'm not a mod, and maybe I'm taking the rules too literally, but you didn't even mention the name of the product.
