What is this called that I see at times? (self.Blind)
submitted by blazblu82
I'm really beginning to believe my good eye is developing neurological problems aside from the retinopathy. Last time I saw my dr, she said there are tractional and vitriol detachments, which I see those as spots with noise in them.

At times, things appear jagged, Like, if I were to cut a board in half at a 45 degree angle and offset the halves, if that makes sense. But, this illusion vanishes as soon as I move the eye or try to focus on it.

The other thing I'm starting to see is a fluttering black spot off to the lower left of my center blind spot. It, too, seems to dissappear when I try to focus on it.

Are these neurological or is it Charles Benet Syndrome? These things drive me nuts, lol!

The floating spot sounds like my experience with Charles Bonnet Syndrome at least. The jagged vision may be part of it too since this stuff is different for everyone but I’m not an expert. That does sound really annoying though. If I could punch the little pinwheels that spin up in the lower corner of my eye I would heh.

I have those pinwheel things in lower left corner of eye along with black blobs that move around at the edge of my vision in that corner.

Annoying is putting it mildly, LOL!
