I wonder if it is 5 Below. You can’t even use Apple Pay without interacting with their POS POS.

"You can reach the ADA Information Line at 1-800-514-0301 (voice) or 1-800-514-0383 (TTY).
Even if we do not take any formal action, your complaint provides us with valuable information, helping us find issues affecting multiple people or communities, and helping us understand emerging trends and topics."
That's from the ADA website. These businesses are legally required to be accessible and filing complaints with the ADA is important every time you encounter a business that violates this law.

For now I just have people do it for me. But I’ve been talking about this and we need accessible POS systems self check out and other machines. Usually I give them the card and have it run creddit. If I can do apple pay I do it but they still require you to hit debit or credit and they do it for me.
The guy I am working for says the best ways is to make an app for it if these pos companies would. That’s one of the better AT type solution. He’s blind and works in At or have and starting a business he owns a couple now.
But it’s definitely a huge pain point and I talk to students who want a research topic. Great why don’t you look in to making POS machines accessible?

I ask the employee to do it for me, they always have so far. Even when you have to make an order on a kiosk that they do not know how to make accessable. Special thanks to who posted the phone number for complaints.

I'd recommend talking to a disability lawyer that specializes in ADA accommodations.
As much as whomever you're dealing with *says* they want to help the disabled, they are all corporate drones that don't have the ability to conjure up a push-button point-of-sale device, nor do they have the technical knowledge to install it. They are there to manage you, waste your time, and not bother corporate as to draw attention to themselves. You're creating work for them and you're not their boss, so they just don't want to have to deal with it.
When you get to that point, you need help from an outside source.
