How to customize the task bar applications with nvda? (self.Blind)
submitted by vzjiofdanefnlk
I find it very useful to put apps to the taskbar, since I can open it by pressing windows + number keys.
But how do you move pinned apps to left or right?
Does anyone know how to move it without asking sighted friends to do it with a mouse?

I unpin them and then add them back in the desired order.

I've thought of that too, but I need to unpin everything to add new one to the first item then.
I want more efficient way...

I mean, it really doesn't take that long

you can only have 10, surely? I mean windows plus 1 to 0 only goes so far.
I never use windows and numbers, because when I first started using windows I had no idea you could pin apps, and so the numbers always changed depending on what was open.
I have hotkeys in place to load the apps I use regularly from their shortcuts, which I suppose is a similar idea really.

Just use shortcuts?
