No not to my knowledge. It is frequently used (by my student) who brought it in last week and the battery had swelled so much that it was not longer in the unit. So it is definitely the battery but I am wondering if this is happening to other people as well. This student is very responsible and didn't leave it in the heat..... Just nervous when you hear about lithium batteries exploding.
