A question for my fellow deafblind people (self.Blind)

I'd post this on the deafblind subreddit but it's kinda dead so...

Do y'all wear hearing aids slash implants while you use your canes? Do you prefer one cane technique over another while wearing them? For example, do you use two-point touch while wearing them but constant contact when you don't?

This is more of an idle curiosity than anything else, since I use constant contact regardless of whether or not I have my hearing aids in

I use constant contact regardless of hearing aids as well - I only switch to two point touch when the ground texture changes (grass, dirt etc).

I have my hearing aids n when I go out using my guide dog or cane.
I have mild hearing loss , but without my hearing aids in, when I’m out of my apartment everything sounds a bit muffled primarily traffic.
This nonprofit website is run by volunteers.
