Would anyone be interested if I started an advocacy/civil rights type podcast? Blindness with no barriers. (self.Blind)
submitted by SiriuslyGranger
Anyone interested if I started my own page or blog very similar to what I talked about on Semra Sevin channel? If you have watched it?

It will be on advocacy, and blindness civil rights, a very pragmatic approach.

I plan to call this blindness with no barriers. I borrowed most of the name from an ADA committee I was on, but their name is Students with no barriers and that’s a calstate Long beach CSULB name. I thought the title was great but in the first video I can talk about actually how ineffective this committee was. Nope, we won’t be just formulating complaint forums and saying no to every suggestion here. 😀 unfortunately for you. 😀

Here’s the interview talk here many of these topics will be covered on my channel and page. Any interest?

It’s not something I’d go out of my way to listen to personally, but if you gave me a list of the kind of topics you talk about I wouldn’t mind taking part. In a kind of questions and answer thing over discord or something.

Are you asking us for a participation or just if we listen to it?

If it's the former I'm interested

If not I love the concept but I probably wouldn't listen to it because honestly podcasts themselves are kind of inaccessible unless you start listening from the very beginning

At least that's what I found it's almost impossible to find any videos without having to go all the way back to the entire series and they're always most recent first so if you haven't started at the beginning and there's no way to reverse it you have to go through all of them backwards and then of course you have to play them back backwards because they won't play the other way around

And they're just kind of hard to find in general and then of course the app sometimes don't work like I personally didn't have a great experience trying to use Spotify for podcasts I think Google podcasts was the best one I used and I can hardly ever find anything on Audible never mind
Then again I guess that's the place with anything that has multiple videos like you can never watch a YouTube channel from beginning to end you just watch whatever videos you find but it's weird because podcasts tend to be numbered so I always get the urge to listen and chronological order especially because I know exactly when the dates are and then they're probably going to be relating to one another and building on topics they mentioned before
