Update: Eye Floater Progress (self.Blind)
submitted by Raccoon_Tail33
Hello, everybody, Raccoon Here. I just want to stop by and update you on my eye floaters. It's been almost two weeks since they've started, and although they're still around, they've improved greatly. The red tint one seems to have stopped, but I still have the spots, depending on how much light is in the room. I think I previously said bright light and movement really calm them down. Sunlight also does the trick.

I have my annual low vision exam next week, so I'm curious as to what my doctor has to say. The fact the floaters don't impact me looking at a screen, plus my eye did very well with the bright lights in my first retinal exam mean this isn't very serious.

Thank you so much for all your support and advice. It makes me feel good I'm not the only blind person who has this. Hopefully, we can find a fix for them, but if not... eh, I think I can manage.

I hope the exam will show you are still fine. I personally close my eyes and shake my head to get them out of the way.

Me too. As for closing my eyes, depending on how much of them I see, that doesn't help. If they're going crazy, I can see them, even when my eyes are closed.
