XR/VR/AR glassess as makeshift zooming device for legally blind? (self.Blind)

Hi, did anyone try using glasses like HTC Vive Flow or HTC Vive XR Elite for the purpose of zooming in on everyday things? I'm curious to check if those types of headsets actually let you zoom the built in cameras in and out.
I'm posting it here for the biggest exposure and maybe someone can help, or knows someone who might have had similar experiences. Thanks in advance ;)
