Weight Loss Can Affect Hormones Increasing Appetite for Over a Year (neuroamer.wordpress.com)

Interesting stuff. I imagine simply having the knowledge that hormonal appetite cues aren't going to recover for at least a year after weight loss could make a big impact on behavioral weight loss maintenance programs. Although I would also like to see similar work done using a more realsitic weight loss progression. This hormonal response (or lack thereof I suppose) might be unique to VLCDs and sudden dramatic weight loss.
