Haha. Yeah, epigenetics is a bit trendy, but I personally think it's going to be really important for neuroscience. I think it's the most sensible way to store long-term changes in gene expression levels that are needed to maintain neurons of different shapes and sizes and for phenomena like homeostatic plasticity. A lot of subtle disruptions of epigenetic processes seem to affect the brain, maybe because as the most complex organ it is the most sensitive to pertubation.
