Any scientific evidence as to which form (if any) of neurofeedback has proven effective for the treatment of lifelong (not just a single incident) PTSD? (self.neuroscience)
submitted 11y ago by [deleted]
I have been doing a lot of research on the benefits of neurofeedback for the treatment of complex PTSD. I have found several articles/sites that state it is. However, I see there there are several forms of neurofeedback (i.e.: watching/maneuvering an object on a screen or listening to music through headphones, etc) Any scientific evidence as to which form of neurfeedback is more beneficial (if at all), or is it case by case?

You should probably elaborate on what you mean by neurofeedback. It's an understood term but the way youre using is very vague since it can be applied in many different ways
