Strawberries and creme question! (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by DarkImmagination
So yesterday I got the strawberries and creme frap. It tasted like the whip was curdling, my boyfriend tried it and said the same thing. I went back and got a new one, she said she used a new canister of whip but it still tasted like the whip was curdling. Is it because the frap is too acidic, it tasted like a strawberry smoothie?

The strawberries and cream has our strawberry juice, whole milk, classic syrup, ice and base. It is sweeter than the strawberry smoothie. The milk they used to make the whips was probably expired. I would say try it again a different day and see how it taste.

There's a good chance that it could have been the marshmallow whip cream. If you're expecting a sweet vanillay whip and you get the marshmallow whip, it can really throw your taste buds for a loop.

The strawberry juice may have made it taste more acidic since some people find it tart. One way to know for sure would be to say you want a "puppuccino" which is just a short cup with whipped cream (it's free, don't worry!)

I work in a mall location and we get kids asking for cups of whip all the time, my DM now has us charging for them. (Add dairy button on POS) because of how much we go thru. So satisfying watching these 8-16 year old annoying girls walk away once they find out it's 60 cents ☺️☺️☺️

Oh man, that sucks. I can imagine the satisfaction of seeing them walk away dejected over 60 cents lmao. Thankfully we don't have them that often
