I had an interview on Sunday went very well (well I thought) I remembered the mission statement and blurted it out to the manager and he was wowed. He then started talking to me about availability and when I could start working. He told me that he would put in for th background check and I would get an email and that he would call me for more questions on Wednesday.Well it's Thursday's and I've gotten nothing including th email nor the phone call should I be worried ?

My background check and everything took a long time: it was over a month from my second interview to my first day, so I wouldn't be too worried. I would wait one more day and then give him a call to see how it's going.
Also, check your email because I had to fill out some info for my background check!

Starbucks hiring process can take awhile, I would definitely give them a call. It's possible something happened with the email (you could always double check your junk mail as well) and the manager could have just been busy that day. There's no reason for them to lie and say they want to hire you if they don't. :)
