My shift hates me. (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey guys so, i have a situation going on at my store. I return from my leave and theres a new barista that got promoted in less than 6 months (ive been working there for a year) I said hi and introduced myself. COMPLETELY IGNORED. ever since that day theyve been treating me terribly. Other shifts had told my store manager about this but the barista was still promoted. Other baristas are afraid of working with that shift now because he will just tell you what to do while he does nothing but talks. Everyone knows our "drama" i try not paying attention but im tired of a work environment that feels like im being bullied.

Have you tried talking to your manager? I’ve had bad experiences with shifts myself in the past. Sometimes Sm have a really bad habit with promoting ppl too early. All I can tell you is that even though it’s stressful those shifts always end up crashing and burning. But you should definitely talk to your manager. As a shift, Ik myself that it’s not okay to have any kind of disrespect or hate for your baristas no matter what. Specially something like this, the company would never allow it

Talk to your Store Manager. Have them sit down with your aggressor on your greivances. Bullying is not uncommon in the work force. Which is unfortuante. Play it smart. Stay strong!
