Has anyone else gotten an allergic reaction from the sanitizer buckets? From what I googled online it seems like allergy induced eczema. Didn’t even know that was a thing. I’m going to the doctors after the holidays. But I’ve tamed it with essential oils. (i.redd.it)

Holy shit I thought that it was just because it was winter and my skin was more dry than usual. I didn’t even think about the sanitizer!!!

You just clicked so many things in my head for me

A couple of my old coworkers at Starbucks used to get reactions from the sanitizer buckets too. We used to have to get the towels out of the buckets for them to use.

Yes. My gf for many years and I just started and it happens to me! I've worked kitchens for 10+ years never had an issue. It's the Ph level!!

Happens to me every time :( I keep lotion in my apron but it doesn’t help as much as I’d want it to

Make sure you’re using the ph strips and that the water is at room temp.

When washing dishes, I would get red, itchiness up and down my arms. And the more often I washed dishes, my skin became scaly.
