one of my shift managers actually broke her foot but she was still working open shifts with a cast and eventually a boot on her foot. not for longer than four hours, though. she also had a scooter but spent more than half of her shift either on DTO or in the back.

Had this issue come up in my district lately......No, you can't as it creates a tripping hazard. You can call prsc for a temporary accommodation request, but they would likely ask for some type of documentation as to the nature of the injury.

You might be able to work the register while in one of the taller chairs. It's probably up to the individual manager.
