I have a philtrum piercing and wear a retainer in it while I'm working. It would not be acceptable otherwise.

I'd had it for over 2 years already when I got hired though so changing the jewelry wasn't a big deal - would not recommend changing the jewelry on a new piercing.

Officially.....no. I can't quote the official policy, but I will paraphrase.... Keep earrings small with no more than two per ear , But Small ear gauges are fine. A single small nose stud is ok as well but you can't have septum piercings. No other body jewelry are acceptable and that includes tounge studs.

Enforcement of the policy....is lax at best. Some stores are stricter then others. I'd recommend talking to the manager of the store you are applying to face to face and asking what piercings are acceptable to them.

I have my septum pierced, a nose ring, 3 earrings in each ear, 2 stretched ears and two tongue piercings and have never had to remove any even when our regional manager visits 😊

There are rules but whether or not they're enforced depends on management. I have 9 piercings on my ears and every time the district manager sees me, she stares but never approaches me about it. I have a coworker that has her septum pierced (doesn't flip it) and our manager doesn't care.

Hey 217 here and shift manager at a pretty rule strict Starbucks I have my septum pierced and I have to flip it up for every shift, but that's the whole reason I got my septum pierced so I can display and hide it as I please. Hope that helps and good luck on the job

it can definitely depend on your SM, a general rule at my sbucks is that you can have one piercing (no septum). we had an ASM who had a septum but she would just shove it up her nose at work. you’d have to refer to the dresscode for other piercings, but i have multiple coworkers who have multiple piercings and aren’t bothered about it.

It's down to who owns the SBUX, eurogarages who own us only allow earrings and nothing else

I'm not entirely sure about this one. I have a coworker with her septum pierced. She takes it out at work though.
