I am thinking about working at starbucks and i was wondering do baristas get a lot of tips?

Depends. I usually average around $0.75-$1/hr in tips a week at my store. I put it right onto my partner card for extra little snacks and things throughout the week.

It depends on the store. My store averages $1/hr but I talked to someone the other day who gets like 2$/hr at their store (which is an insanely busy store).

Come to the UK, you get maybe £1 a day. Sometimes a euro

I average $1/hr extra in tips... Working forty hours/wk, it builds up.
