I worked with a few partners that were transitioning :) They started off with just changing their name tag first and all of the regulars and partners didn’t make an issue of them using a new name. I would start off first by letting everyone know your new name (if you change your name) and pronouns. Don’t be afraid!

Keep open communication with a shift you trust so you have someone with a little clout on your side if anyone throws any shade.

Honestly, if you make friends with and approach your fellow baristas in good faith than they will reciprocate. People are pretty open especially if you treat them with kindness. That goes for anyone regardless of gender, race, religion, beliefs.
