Eh, stopping the “war” against plastics isn’t the answer. However, this whole thing is just a classic “blame the consumer and ignore the industry” shtick. Micro plastics make up roughly 0.03% of the garbage in the ocean. Fishing gear and nets (plastic) make up 40%.
If you really want to make a difference, stop consuming sea life. Put pressure on the industries that are actually making the mess. There is no such thing as sustainable commercial fishing.
