I would say that next time you go into one of the stores you applied for a cup of coffee, politely request to talk to the store manager and tell them you applied online and if they've had a chance to look at your application. Just tell them you would very much like to hear back from them.
Displaying genuine interest in a potential job goes a long way

Go into the stores and drop off a resume in person. Hundreds of people apply online but never show thee face in the store or stick out in any way. Best to make yourself noticed and show up in person.
Btw the store manager is the only one who deals with hiring so asking anyone else questions about your application or whatnot will likely result in them pointing you to the manager

Keep on applying! Even to the same store. Keep it fresh. Obviously don’t go overboard and inundate them with applications to the point of annoyance, but like every to every other week. My hiring manager told me she gets hundreds a day and goes for the more recent ones.
This also helps because one week they may not be hiring but will be the next week. She said she’s more likely to pick up an application that came in this week over one that came in last week. Every store is different but that’s the advice my manager gives prospectives!
Good luck! I hope you get it!!

I live in NYC. In midtown manhattan there's like 100 stores so I went to 3 on 59th street and dropped off my resume after having applied online. Heard back the same day. Make sure you follow up in person
