I’ve been having problems with my Jeep starting. I called in and the shift was being extremely rude & not understanding. We are “friends” outside of work but she chooses to be hateful. Should I confront her about how it makes me feel?

Maybe the shift is feeling like you're taking advantage of the friendship you share and not respecting them at work because of the call-in? If it's a repeat occurrence with the same shift then maybe you should sit down and talk about how your friendship should and shouldn't affect your working relationship.

I would talk it out with that friend. Maybe they were stressed because something previously happened before you called or maybe it was in the middle of a rush or maybe it just wasn’t a good day for them. Honestly I would want my friends to tell me when I crossed the line because it’s always a learning experience. If they continue to be rude about it then you can either let it go for the sake of your friendship or distance yourself from them but not make it too noticeable for it to become a problem.
