So at least a month ago I overslept and was late to my opening shift, and my manager said I would be receiving a write up for it. He never said anything about it after that, so I figured he was just trying to give me a scare so it wouldn't happen again.
Then today during our one-on-one he mentioned it again saying he forgot to fill it out and have me sign it, and so he would have me do it soon.
I'm just wondering if there's a window of time that he has to issue it to me?
I mean I fully accept the responsibility for being late, it just seems iffy to me to receive a write up a month late just because my manager "never got around to it".
