Left the other starbucks page after a ban and came here. Hopefully I am welcomed.(self.starbucksbaristas)

Calling people out about being unreasonably hateful towards their job and customers is considered hostility and you get banned. The starbucks reddit page is hurting our company we work for. Do they not realize customers see those pictures negatively talking about them? This is going to cause people to think we are smiling through our teeth at them. Do we really wanna be seen as cynical people? Am I in the wrong here?

People bitch and moan about their jobs all the time and Starbucks will never not have billions of customers. I’m sure if it were negatively affecting business that much corporate would have done something well before now. I’m sure the number of teenagers posting their pink drink well outnumbers the negative comments.

Most certainly not. I agree with you but people have anonymity here and the company doesn't. If they don't care about their job they certainly don't care if they damage that businesses reputation. The part that has me most disgruntled is that there are people suffering and impoverished that would love the opportunity to work at an establishment like that but instead some scum bag who hates the job and the customers was hired.

I just left the other sub and came here to leave this one too, then I saw your post. As the others have said, it's probably not hurting the company.
But it definitely discouraged me a bit.

If you guys would upvote this so it’s at the top of this sub, more people leaving the other sub will come here and feel at home. Maybe we can kill the other sub Reddit and get this one off it’s feet. The moderators seen like they get into it with their subscribers a lot.
