Hi guys. This will probably be long… I am so sorry, however I have many questions. I have been a patron of Starbucks for years and love it. I just moved to Charleston South Carolina and I am bored with my at home job and need a part-time job away from home. There are over six locations within 15 miles from here. I just moved to Charleston South Carolina and I am bored with my at home job and need a part-time job away from home. There are over six locations within 15 miles from here. I have applied at almost all. I have an interview tomorrow at the one I want to work at the least according to Feedback from a different store. If I go for that interview and they offer me the job, but in the meantime I get a job at the Starbucks I would like to work at, does that cause conflict of interest?
Also… If I am hired as a new employee at the location go to tomorrow… How long would I have to wait to transfer? And will they allow it since it’s in the same district?

I plan to work around 24 to 28 hours a week. One store told me that I was required to work some weekends and holidays. However another store told me that they would be interested in hiring me to work during Monday through Friday mornings with no weekends. Is that common in some stores? The stores here have a lot of college students that like nights and weekends.
I Deleigh Monday through Friday is best… Do you to my fiancé’s out of town work on the weekends. However I don’t want to pass up a job if I say weekends don’t work well. I can be flexible if need be.

One last thing… Does anybody know what benefits are available to employee working 25 hours a week, and how long till they go into effect after the date of employment?
