This is your best bet, talk to your manager first. It all depends on the reason for transferring, you didn’t say why you were transferring other than distance. Is it a huge distance like out of state? If you were moving back home and there is no feasible way you could commute to that store, your manager might be disappointed that they are losing a new hire so soon, but if they are a decent person, they’ll most likely help you stay with Starbucks when you go home.
However, if it’s due to something like, you want to drive 10 minutes instead of 30, and you only took the job at that store because they had an opening and the other store didn’t. Your manager will be rightly annoyed and can probably deny a transfer. There also has to be a store looking for people, so talking to your manager can help you find one near where you’ll be looking (they can email all the managers in the area and see who needs people).
