Hello all! I worked for Starbucks for a little more than a year and a half, was an excellent barista, and was in training to be a shift manager. I left around 10 months ago to move for college. Classes have slowed down and I'm trying to be re employed. I live in the Chicago loop and applied online 2 or 3 weeks ago. I stopped in a week afterwords at the closest location with my resume in hand and spoke to the manager. She said that the approximate hours I gave were what shes looking for and I'm obviously qualified. She said that she would review my resume and contact me but it's been about a week and a half now and I still havent heard back? It took a long time to get hired the first time around but I really thought that I would have heard back and I just dont understand. Anyone have any thoughts? Thank you. I really want this job.
