Trying to find coverage to go to a funeral got me pulling my hair out (self.starbucksbaristas)

Tell your store manager you are unavailable and why. If they know it’s a funeral you’re going to and are still making you find coverage they need to develop some empathy. Contact your dm if they throw a fit about it. They can call around to other stores too.

We got it sorted out. It was just a moment of I asked my own store and my sm insisted I had to try to get a ssv from another store to cover it. In the end my sm pulled through with "ask person A to work open-12 and ask person B to stay later."
