Hi all. Yesterday the manager from Starbucks called me and she asked if I received another email from Starbucks? And I said no, the only email I received earlier in the week was the background check. She said let me know if I receive an email from Starbucks this weekend and she asked if I could come in on Monday at 4 pm for my first onboard training day. What should I expect?? Am I going to get the manual and everything that day? Also, does Starbucks really offer Spotify premium for free as one of their benefits? If they do, that’s really awesome. 👏🏾😊

Your first day you’ll sit with the the hiring manager, go over a few details, get your apron and usually do a coffee tasting. You’ll be scheduled for more shifts with the barista trainer and they’ll do computer prompted work with you and then go through what you learned each day. There is also scheduled hands on training which gets you behind the counter learning the different roles. I would make sure you’re wearing non slip shoes and bring a hair tie just in case.
