Partners backing out from covering your shift (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by taybrom
Hi everyone,
So, last week I contacted a partner about covering my shift for tomorrow. She said she could, so I told my SM that she would be covering my shift. Just now (the day before the shift) she told me that she can no longer cover it. Is it my responsibility to find new coverage for the shift, despite me telling the SM that she would cover it?? Or is it now her responsibility?

I’m a newer partner so I’m not quite sure what the policy is on this... so, advice would be appreciated!!

If you told your SM, and they approved it, it's the other partners responsibility to get their new shift covered. They already accepted it, and its most likely already written in on the schedule
