I had my first "I just want a regular coffee" encounter yesterday. Lady walks in, all huffy puffy, "I just need a regular coffee please"
Me:" would you like our medium roast?"
Lady: "what? No! Just a grande soy latte with sugar free vanilla."
Me: "oh....okay..."
I don't understand.
Me:" would you like our medium roast?"

Woman orders an XH HC.
Woman: This isn’t very hot. I want another one!
Me: Sure. Let me remake that for you
I make it exactly the same. Exactly.
Me: How’s that?
Woman: This is much better.

The other day I made a man an eggnog Frappuccino the exact same way five, I kid you jot, five times over with him watching every time, not even tasting it but just looking at it all assembled and saying “it looks different than last time I got it. Finally on the fifth venti Frappuccino, which looked and was made exactly the same as the first four, he was happy with how it looked. Smh

I feel like theres a limit to how many times you should remake a drink for a customer. Like, 2 to 3 times max after that just refund, right? I mean I've never had to remake a drink 5x but at some point I would refuse
