What is the NICEST thing I could do for my favorite barista? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi, I have no idea who to ask so I thought I might post here. My favorite barista at my Starbucks is super amazing and always makes my day with his coffee. For the holidays (or just in general) I’d like to do something nice for him. What is the very best thing I can do? Tip him? Write to corporate? I’d love your perspective.

Write to corporate, definitely! If you do decide to give him a gift, know that tipping policy isn't the best, so you're totally safest giving him a private sealed card so that way he can keep whatever you give him. Loose cash will have to go to the pool.

I don't know how happy your fave barista is at Starbucks, and I don't know what you do for a living, but if it were me, I would love for someone to offer me a job so I could finally get away from Sbux.

Gift card to a restaurant they enjoy would definitely be loved, if you want to do something other than cash! Cash gets pooled together for everyone

Writing to corporate is great! Gift cards and food are great too! Last year I had a customer gift me a cute little "good luck through the holidays" basket. That's been my favorite so far.
