I hate it when customers ask for the personal cup discount but don't use/have their cup. Just bring your cup in so we don't have to waste a cup??

It’s $0.10 if you go to the Discount button just below your total on the pay Screen.
Click Discount.
The next screen comes up and on the left-right: Personal Cup Discount.
exit out of that screen and complete the transaction.
When I put the cup on the bar, I give a verbal heads up with something like, “personal cup for John on the bar, grande Americano.”
Edit: I also rinse the cup with hot water prior to putting it on the bar. Saves the barista a step, especially if their slammed or in the weeds.

Dude I'm aware of the personal cup discount that's very basic I'm saying that I'm not aware of the fact that people try to get 10c off despite not having the personal cup with them.
