Why the anxiety? Starbucks corporate is happy because of the revenue and you should take all the time you need to satisfy the customer. Your DM should have no problem with this either! The customers is line may NOT be happy but hey that’s not on you. You’re doing your job .

we had someone come in yesterday to our target starbucks with one register and get 160 $25 gift cards, so we had to shut down the whole place for a solid 45 minutes while we rung them all up

I mean, we’ve never had a reason to not print them we rarely get people buying gift cards let alone 60 it was just wild to watch. We have so many drinks and orders come through we just never mess with the ticket printers, but I’ll agree it’d be better to not. Someone tried to reroute mobile orders and we lost soo many 😂

Haha what do you mean? It only gave me anxiety for a second, of course we would have taken our time to make all the drinks correctly and as quick as possible- it just freaked me and my partner out before we knew they were all gift cards. We’re an insanely high volume store and when we get a bunch of tickets even like half of this, the store goes crazy. I’m always happy to sequence and make drinks, but you’ve gotta admit- THAT many tickets is a bit daunting
