Alright guys. My hands are tied. (Help!) (self.starbucksbaristas)

Actually, they’re dried.

Seriously my skin is peeling off from burning/washing my hands so much. Thank god I’ve been on POS only these past two days. Any tips for keeping my hands healthy even when they’re constantly being burned and subsequently scrubbed?

Or working hands cream. It’s in a green jar. Saved me when I started working. Also pat dry your hands if you can.

I second working hands! I used that during the day and aquafor at night with cotton mitts or socks.

I swear by gold bond’s lotion. Relatively cheap, and it doesn’t feel like it washes right off. Apply it constantly. On the order day, when I’m handling a lot of cardboard (it seems to suck the moisture right out of my hands) I’m putting lotion on every 15 minutes it seems, but it’s worth it.

Aquaphor is good too. I apply it once a day to my cracked bloodied knuckles and ruined nails.

Hand cream/oils are all great, but also rinse your hands off with clean water after you do the dishes and especially after sani water. I'm telling you, it really helps.

Use an espresso pod as exfoliant every few days. Gets rid of dead skin cells and the oils from the coffee are good for your skin! Also Gold Bond ultra healing with aloe is a gift from heaven (and it is odor free so you can wear it at work!)

I keep a towel in my apron pocket to dry my hands and it’s helped decently
