BREATH DEEP inhale and exhale it okay to ask questions if unsure dont worry about line ups just focus on the task at hand and please if you falling behind on bar just small talk with customers and let them know that there drinks are coming right up just keep them engaged and let them know you are a new partner

also take advantage of the drinks receipt booklets or if they place you on cash at first when you enter customer drinks there is a column on the right that shows how to make the drinks just start looking at that side as you inputting drinks to get familiar with the drinks receipt

when it comes to the POS (cash register) i would say learn the most common drinks in each menu (where your hot brewed coffee is ) and what each colored button means in each menu

as everyone else is sharing with you it will be overwhelming and hard at first but it okay you will do an amazing job and you will catch on quickly

EDIT : sorry for long winded message still drinking my cup of coffee the just of what i am saying is enjoy yourself at work and take advantage of the resources you have at your disposal no one is perfect at the start and it will take time ask questions if you unsure and engage the customers with small talks

as a customer i always love the staff that are engaging with small talks and it would make me feel good about my day and you never know a hello how are you could make a person day 100 times better

it WILL DEFINITELY be hard at first, but don’t worry because all your partners have been through that stage and should be willing to help you :))
