Handed a dude his coffee in drive. He didn’t want a stopper and it spilled on the side of his car a little. Guy got super posed and when I asked if he wanted some napkins he said ‘no’. I asked if there was anything I could do for him and he said, and I shit you not, ‘You can clean my car.’
I just told him I was grabbing a manager and left. He told her I didn’t even seem sorry. I told her over the headset ‘I’m not.’ Apparently it showed, lol. That’s the closest I’ve ever come to having fault during a transaction.

I’ve witnessed about 4 spills in drive thru (personally, I’m SURE there have been more) and, honestly, half were our fault. The other half were because people either grab the cup by the lid or they grab the cup and squeeze it when it’s handed off to them

This one guy kept asking for a blonde but did not want to wait for me to brew a new batch or make a pour over. And heaven forbid to pay extra for a clover. So he said “ if you can’t do your job I’ll need to talk to your manager”. So I smiled and in a very exited voice said “YES THAT’S A GREAT IDEA” so I called her over so she could deal with him.
Does that count?

Not really my fault, but this middle aged white guy rolled through drive thru and requested a couple of different pastries that we had simply run out of that day (the ASM we had at that stage could not do a proper order to save his life lol) When he heard that we didn’t have any of those pastries, he demanded to speak to our manager (the only management in at that point was a shift haha) and proceeded to keep his ass parked in our DT window while he told our poor shift supervisor how we are all awful at our jobs and how this is quite possibly the worst Starbucks in the country and how he never has problems anywhere else. He ruined our drive thru times because he did this right at the Daypart.
