You could have compensated the liquidiness with more ice or replace the milk with the shots. A 5 shot frap isn’t a crazy idea dude. I really hope you didn’t sell him one for 9 bucks - that’s just a rip off.

With you here, beverage resource manual even spells it out that if the frap has too much liquid it needs to be offset with more ice.

We tried to explain to him that it wouldn't work, that he probably meant 5 pumps of frap roast, but he wasn't having any of it, just kept saying "I get it all the time, 5 shots." I kept gesturing to the espresso machine, trying to figure out where the misunderstanding was, but he just wasn't having it, and was being a total dick about it too. When my barista told him it was gonna be 9.25 he didn't even bat an eye, and when I gave it to him he took a sip and said it was perfect and walked off

But it would have worked if you put the shots in before adding milk. So Frap Roast-> 5 shots -> milk the rest if the way up -> proceed as usual.
