star dashes are cool and all until someone decides to abuse them. “make (x) amount of purchases in (y) amount of time for (z) reward” and it’s usually make a few purchases within a few days so customers have enough time to actually do the dash.

except I have a regular who always and I mean ALWAYS waits until the last day but wants to do the highest reward dash.

the other day she came in, handed me 4 apple juice boxes, said she wanted each of them rung separately, and then ALSO said she wanted to make 4 purchases of drinks and sandwiches, also each rung separately.

now if this isn’t irritating enough, it was during peak when we had about 20 people in line all giving her the side eye because we only have 2 registers and she hogged 1 of them for about 10 minutes :)))))))

Tell her to just order it online. She do them all separately without bothering anyone in line

I absolutely don’t think that’s there is anything wrong with that mate. Don’t tell me you haven’t rung in two partner beverages for two of your friends sometime with two transactions. I’m sorry, I don’t think the customer is wrong here.

2-3 transactions isn’t a big deal, however with only 2 registers and one of them being occupied by 8-10 transactions by a single person who has to keep re logging into their account and adding money during peak (when we are most busy and often understaffed) does get extremely annoying lol
