Today is my last day at the bux and I was feeling a little sad and nostalgic until a customer came through our drive through, wanted to pay with $100 bill. We didn’t have enough change so we comped her drink. I am a shift and went over to let her know we would comp and noticed the barista rang in an odd drink so clarified the order. She said she wanted “an iced caramel Frappuccino” I clarified, “Frappuccinos are blended, that’s what you would like right?” “Yes.” Okay, we will get that made it got put in as an iced cappuccino but no problem. We hand her the caramel Frappuccino, and she looks at it and screams (cafe customers even heard her), “this isn’t even the right drink, first you wouldn’t take my $100 bill and now this, you all are total idiots!”
Thank you, random lady who chose not to listen to me as I clarified your drink, you made me feel certain in my decision to leave. No longer getting treated like dirt over overpriced sugary, caffeinated beverages.
