I have no clue. I feel the same way. The thing I like most is the Spotify premium. And seeing people, but, y’know, Spotify premium.

I've been starting with the high-sugar desserts-in-a-cup and working my way down. White chocolate mocha is the bomb.

peppermint white mocha is the only thing that beats a white mocha

ummm, Snickerdoodle hot chocolate tho

Have you tried the Papa New Guinea? (Did I spell that wrong? Idk) It tastes kind of like tea, especially if you have it over ice

I really like most of the dark roasts. I usually add 1/3 the cup of hot water to dilute my coffee and then it’s pretty good. In my opinion, americanos are superior to regular coffee.

that sounds like a good idea I'll try it tomorrow

I worked for Starbucks for almost 3 years, hated anything coffee the whole time. I gave every markout to my in-laws and I only ever drank the non-coffee stuff. A few years later on a cruise, I started drinking black coffee because it was free. Now I drink 3 cups a day, but I still don’t like espresso.

I started out hating the taste of coffee, when I worked there. 2 years of coffee tastings, becoming a coffee master, and gnarly early morning shifts made me grow to like it a little more.

the Papua New Guinea is the only one of our coffees I've tried so far that I can drink black without wanting to cut my tongue out.

Just tastes like a very strong, kind of bitter tea. And I'm a much bigger fan of tea than coffee so it's nice.

but honestly the majority of starbucks coffee is mediocre. it really is brand recognition and customer connections that keep us afloat lol

I want the Papua New Guinea but my store is consistently out of it >:( here’s hoping tomorrow we’ll have it again
themrreeguy [OP] 2 points 4y ago
hey but dont forget we have "world class" coffee testers that test our beans
iWantToBeARealBoy 3 points 4y ago
yeah they use all the good beans for those tests and then send us the leftovers
