SAME I cried yesterday and today. Literally in my first five minutes of my shift, I spill a whole thing of sweet cream. Then cleaning it up, I bREAK the f*cking mop. So I’m on the ground mopping it up with my hand, middle of the rush. Not a good start to my day.

I hate when I see people struggling like that. I know how hard it is to be new at a busy store. I always try to be extra nice to the new person especially if they have zero starbucks experience.

Except mine is from my DM who expects me to get certain things done by a certain time, and then my SM will give me additional tasks. If I don't get everything done, I get a coaching conversation. If I \*do\* complete everything, and subsequently go into OT, coaching conversation :/

Hey, it’s gets easier, trust!!! It’s always gonna be hard in the beginning. But talk with the other baristas and ask them for help.
