Seattle Snow (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by schroedingerzbarista
Hey Partners
Seattle is getting an incredible amount of snow right now.

Our customers seem genuinely grateful we are open and there to give them The Bean Water.
(Of course, there’s always that needy regular or asshole creeper... that never stops...)
What’s it like in your stores during inclement weather?
I’ve been seeing a lot of big purchases at the POS; lots of food, lots of coffee- $28-35 orders.
You know what I’m talking about....those orders that back up the label machines for daayyyyyzzzzz.

We don’t have a lot of seating at my store but any space we do have is filled with the resident homeless man, work-from-home lady and two families that leave crumbs all over my once clean floor on their departure.

How does that translate into drinks & food ? Of course you need to know that:
Short Pike with four raw sugars, Venti Two Splenda Whole Milk Americano Misto and (for the family): one chocolate Horizon Milk, one kids hot chocolate no whip, Tall Robitussen Mocha, Iced Quad Grande Espresso Extra Ice Two Pumps of White Mocha add whip and a dome lid.
