I'm pretty sure the answer to questions like these is because their parents were too busy working at low-paying jobs trying to support their families and they didn't have enough time or energy to raise their children properly.

People need coffee to function.

Understandable, but still no excuses

Beats me man, all I know is that I have to clean it up every 5 minutes at my store. (I'm in a target starbucks btw)

Does it get busy?

Sorry for the late reply, but at my store it's more like 50/50 but even when it's super slow, there will ALWAYS be someone to make a mess and then I've got to clean it up.

Omg I work at a Starbucks inside a Target in Ventura County. The people here are the FUCKING WORST. I HATE LA PEOPLE. They leave the biggest fucking mess and order 5 drinks per person. ( for context, it’s a small store so I’m usually working by myself for a few hours till another person comes in) and people will wait in line just to order a bunch of drinks, be a bitch about how slow it is and then leave a mess everywhere.

Omg i feel your pain i work i at a travel plaza and its always busy so when someone calls out someone could be by theirselves and all customers is order big then complain why we dont have nothing

Look up both the tragedy of the commons and the broken window theory for a better insight into this kind of thing. Plus, people often lash out when they feel like they don't have control in their life- this is why you often see homeless people ending up being messy. These things have more sophisticated causes than just 'people bad'.

Probably because they're in a hurry

"let the people do their job" no.

Because they don’t have to clean up when they leave.
