Does anyone else get annoyed when other barista’s make your drink incorrectly?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve had this problem with one particular store (which shall go unnamed) for a few weeks now and I believe I’ve discovered why. Oh and my drink..? Well it’s only the simplest thing you could be asked to make as a barista: Tr strawberry green tea lemonade w/ Lt ice and 8 Lcs. Easy right!?
After a little investigation I discovered that many of the barista’s at this particular Starbucks don’t use shakers when making iced teas and refreshers.
We have a cup with measurements on it for a reason! Use the damn thing!
I may be a partner but I’m still a paying customer too!

I hate when I see my fellow partners making teas without the shakers. Yeah, it takes a little extra time, but that’s part of what the customer is paying for. Also (in my experience anyway), I’ve witnessed the majority of our customers who order teas return to ask whether it was shaken or not. So the barista is really wasting more time since they’ll have to remake the damn thing.

exactly. It’s called “shaken iced tea” like don’t be lazy, just shake the tea and make it right

Dear baristas: SHAKE YOUR FUCKING TEA ITS THE MOST FUN PART OF MAKING IT

You don't even know...
I'm getting aggravated just thinking about it.
It's just unacceptable from corporate locations, imo.

Naaah nitro is the simplest

I definitely get annoyed. I’ve literally had to choose to make my drink simpler when I go to this one specific store so I feel you!

I’ve done the same thing. Sometimes I’m not sure if they’ll actually put in whatever alternative milk I ask for, so I’ll just get an americano black.

I ordered a Trenta no ice extra inclusion, she gives me what I ordered but as a tall!! So I told her it was suppose to be a trenta, and she remade it and put ice in it like for me as a barista if I have to remake something because I missed something or made a mistake I always, always get the recipe correct the second time. Like this Starbucks doesn’t put sleeves on extra hot beverages, and gives expired shots.

Omg I watched a girl once (1) kill my shots, (2) gave me only 2 shots instead of 3, (3) squeezed the caramel bottle so hard she was just pouring gobs and gobs of caramel into the bottom of my drink 🤢 I was livid but I just decided not to go back there but a week or so later I changed my mind and decided to give them another chance (since this is the closest sbux to my school), I was in the drive thru and I ordered my drink and just asked them to be careful with the caramel drizzle and the girl (who I’m pretty sure is the same one I watched on the bar before) starts arguing with me telling me that the caramel drizzle will always sink the the bottom 🤦🏼♀️ Haven’t been back there since

First of all, I’m talking about when I go to Starbucks AS A CUSTOMER! Second of all, if you think taking shortcuts and half-assing it is ok then I’m sorry you shouldn’t work for Starbucks. That’s not what this company is about. Thirdly, and most importantly, shame on you for saying what you said when all I wanted to do was speak my mind and voice an opinion.
