Can someone explain how to do stuff like this, I tried steaming the milk a certain way and carefully pouring it so many different times yet it never comes out well, just a boring latte. How do I make latte art?

So I literally learned how to latte art by watching a TON of videos on YouTube. I kinda got super fascinated with it one day and started looking up how to videos.

The best way to describe it though is that you are building your picture completely upside down from what you would think. You're also only laying a little bit of your perfectly glossy foam on top of the crema, which is a stark contrast from your milk (whole is best, use soy and steam to 145-150 if you need nondairy). The rest of your milk is poured from high enough up that it sinks under the crema.

Side note...that latte was probably latte art try number 500. It's not easy, but once you learn it you will be able to go above and beyond for your favorite customers...a.k.a. bring on the tips.
